The new Green Card and Visa rules will break the American Dream of Many

The administration of US President Donald Trump has announced new rules for immigrants. These rules may affect the American Dream of many. The new rules will be implemented in mid-October, but people have already started to plan their Trip to US-based on these new rules.

The new rules follow Trump’s path of ‘America  First’ as these rules will dramatically cut down the number of immigrants in America. These new rules will make the guideline more tough for a green card and visa applications, and the rejection chances of Visa and green card will become high after implementation of these rules.

In easier words, if we describe these new rules than we would say, now it will become difficult for immigrants with a low salary to get a green card. Ken Cuccinelli, the acting US Citizenship and Immigration Services Director, said, “It will encourage self-reliance and self-sufficiency for those seeking to come or stay in the United States.”

“We certainly expect people of any income to be able to stand on their own two feet, so if people are not able to be self-sufficient, then this negative factor is going to bear very heavily against them in a decision about whether they’ll be able to become a legal permanent resident”, Cuccinelli replied on the concern of giving citizenship to wealthy people.

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke slammed these new rules’ proposal, and New York Attorney General Letitia James also announced to sue to block these rules. The latest rules introduced by the government will pot a limit on the chances of getting citizenship of the country. The Trump government has already tried to crack down on illegal border crossers.

The white house released a statement to defend their new rules. The White House said, “Large numbers of migrants have taken advantage of our generous public benefits, limited resources that could otherwise go to vulnerable Americans.”

The rules are yet to be implemented, but their effects will be long-lasting for humans as people move to the US for a better life, but now they will have only a few percent chances left to live in this developed country.
