Serena Williams fined again for damaging a court during Practice

Serena Williams, Seven-time Wimbledon champion has been fined $ 10,000 for damaging the court during the practice. The fine is imposed by the All England Club on tennis star. According to the organizers, this incident occurred during the practice session, on an outside court.

The damage was done by the racket of American Tennis Pro as she threw it on the court. As of now, the officials have not said much about the incident and the damage.

Serena Williams is not the only Tennis player who has been fined for damaging the famous English grass courts. Though, Williams’ fine is the largest of the tournament this year by far.

Earlier Italian player Fabio Fognini was fined $3,000. Fabio lost his match in the third round on 6 July. He said that he wished a bomb would hit Wimbledon. Nick Kyrgios was also fined twice. The first fine imposed on Nick was $3,000 from the first round, and in the second round, he had to pay $5,000as fine. Both the fine Nick had to pay for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Serena Williams faced the fine in 2016 as because of the same reason. She smashed her racket on the court during a second-round victory over Christina McHale in 2016. She was fined  $10,000 at the All England Club that time as well.
