Pixel 3A vs Pixel 3: which one is worth buying ?

The launch of Pixel 3A and 3A XL have been the talk of the town since their announcement. The Google Pixel 3A is a lower cost phone from Google, and it starts at $399 in the US. Both of the handsets are Google’s attempt to reach to the wider audience that prefers affordable phones. The phones, 3A, and 3A XL, are designed in that way so that the phones don’t look cheaper. The specifications of both of the handsets make them desirable phone in the mid-range segment.

Pixel 3 is the flagship phone of Google, and it has the best camera. Those customers who are desirous to buy Pixel 3A and 3A XL will get the same camera as Pixel 3 at fewer prices. Google has scarified in other places to bring new phones in the low price category. The bodies of 3A and 3A XL are not as sleek as Pixel 3, and the newly launched phones also don’t have water resistance and wireless charging.

If talk about the display and resolution then the Pixel 3A has 5.6-inch display size with 2220×1080 pixels screen resolution, Pixel 3A XL has a 6.0-inch screen and 2160×1080 pixels screen resolution. Google Pixel 3A XL is heavier than 3A, its weight is 167g, and 3A’s weight is 147g. Both of the handsets have Android Pie 9, the latest version of Android.

Camera set up for both of the phones is the same. The front facing camera is of 8 megapixels, and the back camera is of 12.2 megapixels.  Both 3A and 3A XL have the 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 and 64 GB storage. Both handsets have a fingerprint sensor at their back. Google re-introduced the headphone jack in these phones, which is not available in Google Pixel 3. Price of 3A is $399, and 3A XL will cost $479.

Now you have all the main specifications of both of the handsets; there is no much difference in 3A and 3A XL but the size. If you are eager to buy one of Google’s handset, then you can choose one of them as per your pocket.
