Facebook’s new updates comes-in with a handful of changes in the app

In its annual conference, which was conducted on Tuesday, the tech giant had launched a couple of moves into its family of apps.

In the meeting, the social networking giant revealed a new redesign on Facebook, updates for Instagram further included a new dating feature called Secret Crush. Facebook added saying, the Messenger will further be consuming less storage space from its next update.

The company is refurbishing the app for the 5th time to date. The redesign is called “FB5” and it is expected to be out in the market in the next couple of months.

The biggest change of the app is of the removal of the big blue bar that is located on the top of the app. As this has almost been there since the time the Facebook app had begun.

The engagement of the users in groups and events is being reinvented with a motto to serve better features. The groups will be easier to find and accessible to participants.

This social networking app is being used by tens of millions of people and they find it to be very beneficial.

In a blog post, Facebook said, “Keeping this in mind, we’re operating out a fresh new design for Facebook that promises to be simpler and brings your communities at a point.

We’re further introducing new tools that will help make it comfortable for you to discover and engage with groups of people with common interests.”

There also will be a new tab “Events”, where the users can know about several events around their location. The events that will be available in the tab’s list are- local business events, classes, workshops, contests and much more.

The Boss is quite sure that the app will add some more excitement for the users. Thus the company is working on to bring in better features to serve them even better.
